Joanne is the founder and owner of Tribal Tulum and has been sharing her humor, sense of vitality and her yoga practice with people in Tulum since 2004.
She teaches Vinyasa flow, Yin Yang, Yin Yoga as well as several special classes like Yin and Journaling, Roll and Release flow and moon meditations at Tribal.
Her classes are tailored to the needs of her students and based on her life philosophy of cherishing each moment and ourselves.
Each of her practices reminds us that each breath and each moment is a gift. She combines her yoga with a lifetime of body-knowledge developed as a competitive athlete and life philosophy developed in over 20 years of practice and study with nearly 15 years of teaching experience.
Joanne is accredited to teach yoga by the AAAI/ISMA, (American Aerobic Association International/International Sports Medicine Association) and the YUMJI Yin Yoga School.
She is an engineer, writer and artist as well as an entrepreneur and yogi. She is a B School Graduate as well. She writes and blogs online.
